Historical Events Leading To Our New Reality
"...The Light-oriented illuminoid families devised a plan to set up a number of monetary programs, and to seek a more open alliance with the forces of Light. It was also decided to enlarge their membership. With this in mind, they approached those groups within the illuminoid families who seemed most likely to cooperate. This led to a broader coalition by the end of the 1970s. At the same time, this Light coalition was able to insert a number of "moles" into the darkest, illuminoid groups. This permitted them to learn about the schedule for the start of the rebellion. The 1980s and 1990s were the proposed timeframe. The first step was planned to coincide with the return of Halley's comet. It was to be a false 'alien invasion' done to provide a reason to set up global martial law. A New Way To Look At World Events

Blessings to all you beautiful people, and Happy Valentines Day! It's nice to have a cheerful holiday in the cold winter months. This adds joy to life as we wait for the flowers to start blooming, and nature to come alive again. I love the spring time.
Now, what is up with the planets? The Sun is moving through the sign of Aquarius, along with the Planet Neptune. Mars is making a ninety degree angle to those two planets. Mars and Neptune together cause problems with chemicals, drugs, biological agents, and all kinds of illnesses, including the bird flu. The reason that virus is hitting SE Asia so hard is because Neptune is affecting that area.
The planet Mars has just moved into Taurus, which means there will be more violence in the Middle East in the next couple of months. Don't be surprised by anything that may happen there. At the same time Mars will be affecting the West Coast. This could bring Earth changes to the coast, or off the coast because Neptune rules the oceans. There is also the possibility of chemical or biological events anywhere in the world.
The Kali Yuga cycle ends in December 2010, and the Mayan Calendar ends in 2012. The Kali Yuga says that we moved into a new seven year cycle on December 30, 2003. This cycle is ruled by Neptune, the feminine magnetic planet. We just came out of a seven year cycle ruled by Saturn, the lord of karma. In Vedic astrology you have to move beyond the influence of Saturn before you can experience the freedom of Uranus, and the cosmic consciousness of Neptune.
The negative effect of Neptune is deception on a large scale. This is the year to use discernment on all levels, including the presidential election. We have major choices to make this year, lets hope we make the right ones because mass consciousness creates world events. George Bush is a born again Christian, and he basically led us into a religious war with Afghanistan and Iraq. Does mass consciousness choose to experience more war?
We are being prepared for a one world government, under the United Nations. Do you realize that in September of 2000 there was a United Nations conference that was attended by almost all of the countries in the world. They passed bills to basically put everything under the control of the United Nations. They passed all of the bills that were up for vote, which included forming a world court, world bank, and many other agencies. The New World Government is in control, just waiting to be activated.
Do you realize that the United Nation's charter was written by Alger Hiss, Mulatoff, and Vyshinsky from Russia? Do you realize that they made a secret agreement that the military-chief of the United Nations would always be a Russian appointed by Moscow? Do you know that most of the United Nations Charter was copied from the Marx "Manifesto" and the Russian constitution? Do you know that only the two Senators who voted against the United Nations Charter had read it?
Is the world ready for a one world government? What organization has been working behind the scenes for years to put this into action? Who is their leader? This is the year we may find out, and that is why I say to use discernment on all levels.
The one world government may control for awhile although I think God has other plans for this beautiful Earth. The planets say that we move into the thousand years of peace sometime between 2003 and 2010. Those who are manifesting a higher dimension consciousness are already experiencing peace within and are living on a higher frequency Earth. They have become observers instead of actors. The rest of the world will have much drama to go through in the next few years.
There are many events that will be transpiring in the next couple of years. Mother nature has started her big time cleansing. The proof of this is that The Woods Hole Oceanographic Institute has announced that the North Atlantic Oscillation is failing, and, along with it, the Gulf Stream. This article also says that the Institute has observed the largest and most dramatic oceanic change ever measured in the era of modern instruments, in an analysis of Atlantic ocean currents from pole to pole. Woods Hole has found that salinity levels are changing in ways that they have changed in the past leading to periods of abrupt climate change. Polar waters are becoming far less saline, meaning that the 'heat pump' effect that draws warm water north is failing.
Last summer, Unknowncountry.com reported an ominous sign that the North Atlantic Current was weakening when cold northern water suddenly appeared along US coastlines as far south as Florida. This suggested that the Gulf Stream had moved farther offshore than normal. which would happen if it weakened and was not flowing north normally.
The extremes of heat and cold that the northern hemisphere has experienced over the past twelve months may be further signs of this effect. Extraordinary heat killed at least 20,000 people in Europe last summer, and extreme cold in north America this winter has been responsible for at least 35 deaths. From now on, there is an immediate potential for abrupt climate change.
From an astrological point of view, the planet Uranus is sitting right over the North Atlantic Ocean, where it will stay for seven more years. It will continue to disrupt the ocean currents. The effects of Uranus in Pisces started in March of 2003, then the planet went into retrograde phase. On December 30, 2003 this planet went into Pisces to stay for seven years. Uranus rules very disruptive changes, and Pisces rules the oceans. This means there will be lots of changes in the North Atlantic Ocean, and world wide super storms that will continue for several years to come.
The two most dominant planets in the next seven years will be Neptune and Uranus. The next few years will be very dramatic, and very emotional, because of Uranus being in the emotional sign of Pisces. Pisces is the drama queen. Uranus rules riots, rebellions, the desire for freedom, and the male higher mind. Neptune rules the female higher mind. This will give us an opportunity to move into cosmic consciousness.
Neptune rules our magnetic field. Changes in Earth's magnetic field has already begun. The magnetic shift started on November 9, 1998 when the magnetic field first fell to zero for a short period of time. Then in July of 1999 the Earth opened her vortexes to receive magnetic energy. We have been in a magnetic shift since then. Soon it will fall to zero again and stay there. This will happen in the not too distant future. At that time we will be reprogrammed into a higher frequency. The past will be gone, and we will be living in the now.
I believe the Sun is what triggers everything, and after that the planets take over. The energy from the Sun hits the core of our Earth. This in turn warms up our oceans, and here we are in the beginning of major changes. Uranus rules storms - violent ones with high winds, lightening, and lots of water. The Earth has decided to start cleansing herself big time.
We may have wars for a few more years on the lower dimension Earth, although it looks to me like mother nature is starting to take over, and people will not have the energy to fight because they will be to busy just trying to survive. The prophecies that people are predicting to happen is for the lower dimension Earth. Those living in a higher frequency will not experience trauma. They will be the ones who manifest peace and joy.
There was a super nova explosion in the sign of Asklepius in 1987. The Sun was moving through Pisces when it happened which was on February 23, 1987. The planet Saturn experienced the effects from that explosion. The Astronomers noticed a white turbulence around that planet and wondered where it came from. Next year, in 2005, the Earth will experience the light from that Super Nova explosion. How will that effect Earth? Will there be a great light in the heavens? Time will tell.
When Uranus finishes its sojourn through Pisces in 2010, it will then be affecting Stonehenge and lined up with the Great Central sun that is a super massive black hole which holds a mass of about five billion suns. Twenty-seven galaxies, including the Milky Way, rotate around this nucleus. This common galactic point is known as the Super-Galactic Center which also goes by the name Virga A or M-87.
The magnetic energy from this point in space enters Stonehenge, and then moves around the Earth to all the sacred sites. That sounds very powerful to me. After that Uranus moves into the sign of Aries and we will be manifesting a new beginning. How exciting!
The whole scenario for the Earth changes is given in the Book of Revelation. New York was attacked, and then we destroyed Babylon (Iraq). Read the 17 and 18th chapters, if you are interested. We are now manifesting the 19 and 20th chapters which talks about the downfall of the controllers, among other things.
Here is a quote from the 19th chapter. "Then, I saw heaven opened, and behold, a white horse (ship)! He who sat upon it is called Faithful and True, and in righteousness he judges and makes war. His eyes are like a flame of fire, and on his head are many diadems; and he has a name inscribed which no one knows but himself. And the armies of heaven, arrayed in fine linen, white and pure, follow him on white horses (ships). On his robe and on his thigh, he has a name inscribed, King of kings and Lord of lords". What does all of this mean? Will we have a space ship event soon?
Sometimes it takes a long time for one chapter to work itself out. As I see it, we are in the middle of the 7 years of tribulation which is over by the end of 2007. That is not too far away. There are many things that will transpire between now and then, so keep your cool. Remember, there is a world of light overshadowing the world of darkness so reach for the light.

Stuck

It is easy to get stuck in any level of development. Sometimes, people get stuck in the awareness stage. They are so happy that they are aware of their own issues that they just stay there, contemplating their issues. This is a great beginning, but not a place to stay.
Some people get stuck in the releasing process. It feels so great to release and let go, and gives such a sense of freedom, that they crave and replicate these feelings on a continual basis. They release and release, but never move on.
Or, during the releasing process, some people crave the emotions that they claim to be releasing. Their releasing process gives them the opportunity to re-experience their anger, pain, frustration, hurt, abuse, low self-worth issues, and so forth. In a sense, these people are “addicted” to these feelings. This is what they know, so this is what they crave. To satisfy this need, they create a way to hold onto these feelings on some level while convincing themselves that they are actually doing release work.
Everyone says that they want to move out of their uncomfortable experiences, but few people actually make it out. This is the “karmic” cycle that so many people talk about. The reality is that everyone re-experiences everything on many levels until the soul-personality decides that it has had enough. Most support groups simply exist so that people can continue to re-experience on a continual basis, i.e., “once an alcoholic, always an alcoholic.” In this respect they remain under the jurisdiction of the very experience that brought them to the support group in the first place.
Some people actually move from one level to the next, but get stuck in the new level. Because the new level is so much better than the last, they forget that they need to continue upward on their evolutionary spiral.
You can cry and moan forever about what you do not like. This is your identity, and you worked long and hard to get there, so why change it? You know it well. Are you really tired of it? Well, if you were, then you would let go of it and allow its correction to come into your life.
After all, who is ultimately responsible for all that surrounds you? Your parents or spouse? The healthcare system? Media? Political structure? Illuminati? Think of all the people and things that you can blame for your existence and experiences, but deep down inside, you know that you are the only one responsible for your life.
It is the strength of your mind-pattern that brought you into this world exactly as it is today. It is the strength of your mind-pattern that created your experiences with your parents, spouse, healthcare system, media, political structure, and Illuminati. It is only the strength of your mind-pattern that can change these things.
If you think that you are in a corner with no way out, then stop to contemplate and realize that it is you who put yourself in this corner. Create movement, even if you are not sure of the correct way. Even an “incorrect” choice refines, defines, and guides you into alternate choices.
It is also easy to trade one challenge for similar horizontal challenges, such as often happens when people change partners or spouses, for example. People go from one partner to the next with the same qualities, characteristics, and traits without realizing it until it is too late. Work out your current challenges to avoid horizontal movement whenever possible.
Realize how strong the mind-pattern is—this imprint supersedes even the thought process itself. This is why you think that you are finished with something and it comes back again. You did not totally remove the imprint.
Once you get into specific life circumstances, the negatives may give you the opportunity to be “special” and “unique” in your own mind. For example, a sick child may get opportunities that a well child might not, a la Make-A-Wish Foundation and other similar organizations. You, or others, may spend time, energy, attention, and money on yourself when you are in crisis that might not happen otherwise. You may say that you do not desire this attention and that it is not worth the price, but on some level you relish it and do not want to give it up.
People can get stuck playing with their “psychic” and intuitive talents as well. They have “something” so rather than elevate to the Oversoul level, or deeper levels of the Oversoul, they remain where they are.
You can stay and play in any level. This is the beauty of True Reality. There is no such thing as time and space. You can stay wherever you want as long as you want. However, always keep in mind that good can get better.
Programmed people may get stuck in the feeling of being special, different, and unique. Why should they want to lose the programming? Imbedded in most programmed people are several methods to stop their deprogramming process, including the imprint that they are special, unique, better than, above, and separate from everyone else. If they are deprogrammed, maybe they will not be as special. Maybe they will leave their excuses for not being as functional as others. Maybe they will lose the drama that their pain brings and in which they live. People can get stuck in the deprogramming process, and stay there forever as well.
People who are not specifically programmed may feel like they are not as special, because who wanted them? Well, how about the fact that these non-specifically programmed people are not as controllable and therefore are already where the specifically programmed people (say that they) want to be?
Take a look at where you are stuck. Think about what you like about it. There has to be something, or you would not stay there. Think about this until you are honest enough with yourself to actually explore what you do like about what you say you do not like.
Then decide to use the strength of your mind-pattern to permanently release it (not stay stuck in the release process) and move on. Complaining, whining, and moaning do not get you un-stuck. It only holds you where you are. When you have done enough of this and you are really ready to greet the life that is waiting for you, you will un-stick yourself. No one is going to do this for you—ever. This is your lesson that you created for yourself. The strength of your mind-pattern can bring you the help that you need, but you must not only bring the help, you must recognize, accept, receive, apply, live, and be it!

DaBen: What is spiritual will? How do you know what actions to take that come from your alignment with this higher, spiritual will?
Following the spiritual will is doing those things you are drawn to do when you are in a space of spiritual clarity. To follow the higher will, to live the higher purpose of your soul, is to decide what to do freshly, not based on past habits and what you have always done in certain circumstances. It does not mean that you need to pick new activities or actions, either. Living in harmony with the higher will happens when decisions about what to do are arrived at cleanly and clearly from tuning in and asking, "What is best for me to do this moment, that will also be best for me in the longer term as well?"
You will choose what to do next not because you "should" do it, but because that is what is next for you to do. Even if there are challenges or perceived difficulties, the activities will have a feeling of a worthy challenge that excites you. Sometimes you may even be afraid, or you may view a task as a lot of work, but it will be something that you are drawn to do. Your urge to do it will overcome those difficulties.
After you choose what action to take, you will know you are in the flow because there will be a sense of enjoyment in doing it, a feeling of its rightness. At the end of the activity there will be a feeling of completeness. It will lead easily into the next activity. You will know you have picked the right activity because in some way it will make what you choose next easier; you will be more prepared for the next activity. Your activities will begin to blend one into the other, each creating the space for the next one to occur.
There is a degree of discipline required, but it is not the type of discipline where you are forcing yourself to do something because you "should" do it. It is the kind of discipline that moves obstacles so you can do those things you are drawn to do. Discipline then becomes a tool to get old habits, excuses, and resistances out of the way. Mental discipline is sometimes required to let go of doubts such as "The activity I would like to do is so wonderful, I should do it later after I finish all the chores I am obligated to do." Or, excuses such as "It is not quite right now, doing it would be too much effort," or "I’m too tired now."
There is a time to take action, and a time to be quiet.
Once you have overcome any obstacles to doing what you see is next to do, and you have carried out the indicated actions, you may reach a point where there is seemingly nothing obvious to do next. So often when this happens many of you fill up those spaces with action and more activity. To be in the flow of spiritual will is to use these times when no action is indicated as a time to get quiet and tune in. Get quiet and simply observe your energy. Come fully into the present, noticing the smells, sights, and sounds around you. Observe your emotional energy and mental state. Sense the subtle energies about you, and open your mind to the higher realms and any messages that might be there for you. Think about what you have been able to set in place with the actions you have taken.
There is a cycle to taking action, just like there is a cycle to breathing. There are times that you are quite active, as you are when you take a breath. You can choose to pause at the top of each breath before you exhale. Then there is exhaling, an activity requiring less effort than inhaling. You can also pause at the bottom of each breath. To align with spiritual will, all activities need to allow for a pause, a time of quiet, before starting the next activity.
Activities have their own rhythm as well, so that a certain activity like becoming physically fit will have activity one day and then a pause before you choose to exercise the next day. You will have many activities occurring simultaneously that each have their own rhythms. Part of flowing with your spiritual will is to find ways to bring all your activities together in the most flowing way, where each enhances the other. As you bring together all your activities into a harmonious working together, you begin to see more of the larger pattern and picture of your life.
Spiritual will is finding and following your flow.
You might think of aligning with spiritual will as finding and following your flow. It is following your flow in such a way that you are a part of that flow and have a full participation in it, not just letting it carry you where it will. Combine your will with the higher will, for it is a co-creative venture.
To most use the energies that are present now is to refine your ability to be aware of your own flow and be within the flow. It requires developing your sensitivity to the subtle energies so you can be more aware of the higher flow, stay in it for longer periods of time, and coast in it more easily. It is building your subtle energy bodies that will most allow you to align with the higher will. It is in learning physical ease, emotional flow, and mental fluidity, as well as developing a sensitivity to the higher, subtle energies that will allow you to chose the flow that you live in. The flow of the spiritual will is much like a physical current. As you develop your own physical, emotional, mental, and spiritual energy bodies and awaken your light body, you can be more efficient in taking advantage of the flow.
If your energy bodies are less developed, it is like being in a boxy, square-cornered boat. The boat may float and keep you above the water, but it is not very responsive to the current and can create a lot of resistance. The drag can push you in ways that are not very effective, and can even turn you, taking you in the wrong direction.
On the other hand, if you are a sleek vehicle with a good rudder, well trimmed, made exactly for this type of current and so on, you find yourself being carried very smoothly and swiftly in the current, always heading toward the right direction. As you align with the spiritual will and do all the other things that go along with this alignment such as mental, emotional, and physical discipline, then you are refining your vehicle. You are quite naturally creating a better boat in which to navigate the flow.
As you follow the spiritual will all the pieces begin to fit together into a beautiful, clear, larger picture and purpose.

There are simple feng shui "cures" you can apply to the relationships corner of your home -- walk in the front door to the rear of your home, then take a right, that's your relationships corner -- and to your bedroom -- a relationships area, no matter where it falls in your home -- to help you attract love energy. Put these quick tips into action and see the energy of love start to flow to you.

Things to REMOVE:
Stuff from old relationships: You've got to cut the ties to the past. Lose the old love letters, furniture, trinkets, gifts and dried flowers from what was once a happy relationship.
Single stuff: If you are single and looking, you can get fast results by just removing the art in the home that depicts a single woman within the frame. If you have an expensive portrait of yourself, give it to a friend or relative to hold for you for a while. Single ladies hanging around the house attract single attitudes and energies.
Single setup: Having just one nightstand next your bed with every other space in your room filled to the brim with your stuff gives the impression that you are comfortable with your single lifestyle.
Too much feminine ch'i: If your home or room is so covered in lace and perfume bottles that a guy can't even come in and sit down without shivering, then lighten up on the girly stuff and get a little macho vibe going instead.
Juvenile ch'i: Stuffed animals, games and dolls don't attract mature relationships -- if that is what you are looking for.
Distractions: Remove items that make you stray from your intent for a relationship, such as exercise equipment, work-related items, laundry and television. You can still keep these items, of course, just keep them out of the love area.
Pointy and pokey things: Sharp angles and corners poking into this area of the home only keeps the people you attract at bay. Lose the cactus.
Things to ADD:
Space: Make room for the energy of love by literally creating space. Clean out half the medicine cabinet, half a drawer, some of the closet. Allow the nightstand on the other side of the bed to remain empty, or you could add a little something there that you think your lover would be attracted to.
Matching pairs: Replace the single stuff with matching pairs of things: a set of love birds, a couple of candles sticks, two hearts made of rose quartz ...
Sensual items: If the possibility presents itself, are you prepared? Chocolate, candles, massage oils, champagne, nice sheets, a clean bathtub or a nice robe can help you feel assured that you can handle the energy when it arrives. Think of the five senses here, and make sure you have catered to each.
Pink stuff: In feng shui, pink is the color of love. Pink stuff can actually help hold love energy for you. I'm talking about even placing a piece of pink-colored construction paper here -- almost anything pink can help.
Round or rounded items: Curvy stuff mimics body form -- nice to have around in the relationship area.
What Is
a Bagua?
The bagua is considered
the "map of feng shui." It is designed to help you figure out which
parts of your home correspond to each of the nine areas of your life.
How
do I use it?
Each different colored area (or gua) corresponds with one of the life
areas. To overlay the bagua on your home or work floor plan, stand at the
threshold of the architecturally intended (not the one you happen to enter
most often) front door facing in and hold the diagram so that the blue, black
and gray guas are closest to you. Pretend you can draw a line straight across
the front of the home where the door is: that would be the line at the bottom
of this color chart. Now that you have the correct orientation, just divide
your space up into nine guas as if you were cutting a square cake up into nine
pieces. It helps to think of them as nine squares for this exercise -- like a
little tic-tac-toe board overlaid on your house.
What if my front door
isn't clear?
A lot of people at this point feel that they can't go on because their door is
at some strange angle or is confusing for some other reason. If you are
confused about the front door, then just do each room individually using the
door to that particular room as the starting point to overlay and orient the
bagua.

Awakening
Yourself to Abundance

The principle of abundance is revealed in many ancient teachings. Sacred writings reveal that the outer world is the reflection of the inner world -- as above so as below. We are surrounded by an abundance of love, joy, money and health. The amount of our intake, however, is equal to the limitations we place on our emotions, behaviors, thoughts and actions.
Our inherent belief system is what blocks the constant flow of abundance. For instance, you may have learned as a child that you cannot ask for more than what you have. Or maybe you were taught that once you receive abundance, you are going to lose it. Perhaps you were even told that it is there for others but not for you, that you are not worthy. By continuing to harbor these beliefs, you have essentially disconnected yourself from abundance and unconsciously refuse it.
In order to live an abundant life filled with love, money, health and joy, we need to reduce our limitations. This can be done through meditation, developing insight, acknowledging the divine presence within, saying affirmations, and trusting universal abundance. Rather than focusing on results, we should focus on the source of their creation: ourselves.
Below, I offer several aromatherapy blends and affirmations to help you make the right changes, embrace life and enjoy all its abundant gifts.
Each aromatic blend should be prepared in a 10-ml bottle. Pour the essential oils first, and then add organic vegetable oil to fill (sweet almond, jojoba, grapeseed, etc.).
Prepare the blends and participate in the affirmations while in a meditative state. Find a quiet place and sit very comfortably. Take a few deep breaths to fully relax and clear your chatting mind. Apply the blends on the third eye, solar plexus and heart chakra. Take a few deep breaths again. Say the affirmation aloud. Close your eyes. Hold the vision for 10 or 15 minutes. Greetings, and happy new year! And even though it's a brand new year, you know what? It's still now. A later now, but still now. Last year I predicted the book "The Power of Now" would be the next big thing -- and it was. And with more and more people learning to be in the now, I will make an even more radical prediction: Living in the now will be the wave of the future, until time itself becomes a thing of the past.
How's the Universe? Just Fine,Thanks
This is the State of the Universe Address, and knowing how busy most of us have been, you probably haven't stopped to ask, "I wonder how the Universe is doing." Well, since you didn't ask, I will tell you. Just fine, thank you. Ever-changing, same as always. purring in perfection. The Universe continues expanding, and I don't care what the economists are saying, an expanding Universe means more jobs for everyone. Overall activity is up, and when the Universe puts on its overalls, you know it's gonna be a busy year.
Meanwhile back on earth, the cosmos are drawing us forth. Even George Bush. He recently announced plans to have a man on Mars by 2025, and he has a head start. Thanks to the so-called Patriot Act, he can have someone on Uranus by the end of the week.
As if we didn't have enough Mars energy these days. You never hear them talking about putting a woman on Venus, do you?
Going to Mars. That is the George Bush answer to global warming and environmental destruction. Well, we're just about done with this planet. Time to mosey on to greener -- I mean redder -- pastures. The E.T.s are very concerned. Right after the Mars probe landed, the headline in the Intergalactic Gazette was:"'There Goes the Neighborhood."
The Angels Have Landed ..and Not a Moment
Too Soon
Fortunately, there has been an infusion of angelic energy on Earth over the
past year. Have you felt it? And those angels have upgraded their entire
system. Now it's every time a cell phone rings, an angel gets his wings. The
activity is everywhere. Even the Fox network is coming out with an angel show
this year. But you know Fox, they're a little edgy. The new show is going to
be called "Inappropriately Touched By An Angel."
And we will need all of the angelic energy we can get, because I have to tell you, the forces of endarkenment made great strides last year, leaving their footprints on the backs of far too many. Sadly, 2003 was the year that the Irony Curtain descended over America -- the invisible wall of impropaganda they put up to separate the people from the truth. And when Michael Moore broke through the soundless barrier at the Academy Awards Show, it was a moment of truth in a year that was short on truthful moments. His courage to speak the truth at a time when lie-ability appeared to be an asset makes him the leading candidate for this year's NoBull Prize.
Body Politic Anemic Due to Irony
Deficiency
Yes, the body politic has been inundated with so much toxic BS, our skeptic
system has overflowed and we've ended up swallowing toxic ironies whole. This
is called "'irony deficiency". Seeing a doctor won't help, but
seeing a paradox will.
Like this one: The best way to preserve our liberties is to take them away. And maybe if we call it the Patriot Act, no one will notice that it is the most unpatriotic and unconstitutional legislation ever passed. Looking on the positive side, though, it has made our lives simpler. The Bill of Rights has now been boiled down to just one: You have the right to remain silent.
If a Speech Freely Falls in the Forest,
and There is No One There to Hear it -- is it Still Free Speech?
True, this is a dangerous world, and while Mr. Cheney can hide himself in some
undisclosed location, Mr. Bush has to make an appearance from time to time,
and must be protected at all costs ... from free speech. So to make sure that
criticism of his policies doesn't become massive enough to reach critical
mass, protesters are now cordoned behind barbed wire in what are called ...
and I am not making this up ... free speech zones. So Americans are still free
to speak freely -- as long as no one can hear them.
Now I bet many Americans haven't even heard of these free speech zones, and that is not surprising. It was one of those stories that went uncovered while the media was busy assaulting us with weapons of mass distraction. Like what just happened at the Super Bowl. CBS -- which apparently wants us to see only the B.S. they want us to see -- refused to run a MoveOn ad critical of George Bush. Meanwhile, their affiliate MTV (or, as it has come to be known, Empty Vee) happily distracted us with the Janet Jackson /Justin Timberlake fiasco. This is all too typical of mass media nowadays -- an overwillingness to expose a little boob, and an underwillingness to expose a big one.
You can bet the Super Bowl will be entirely different in 2005. Rev. Jerry Falwell was very upset at what he called "trashy titillation and toilet humo" 'and vowed to clean it up. He has proposed that next year's half-time entertainment be provided by the Mormon Tabernacle Choir, and the event be renamed the Tidy Bowl.
Strike While the Irony's Hot!
So the body politic must strengthen itself by doing free press presses and
pumping ironies. You know the old saying, '"trike while the irony is
hot!"
Like this one: The best way to make peace is by making war. I think Dick Cheney said it best: "We will keep fighting our war for peace, even if it takes forever!"
The War in Iraq is less than a year old, and it has cost us over $90 billion. That is $246,575,342 a day! Do the math. And if you find the math difficult to fathom, how about the aftermath? Who will foot the bill for this misadventure? I will tell you. That bill will be placed squarely at our children's feet. Years and years of bleeding off our precious livelihood to pay for weapons of deadlihood. No wonder the 'hood is so deadly!
Now of course there are those in the administration who say you gotta fight fire with fire, right? Well, I've been talking with some firemen lately, and you know what? They say, "No, you fight fire with WATER ... " We should be dampening support for those terrorists, and instead we seem to be firing them up. So here we are, caught between Iraq and a harder place, and unable to pull out because we wouldn't want to lose face. Now I don't know whose face is being saved over there, but for sure ass is being lost -- ours and theirs. War may or may not be face-saving, but it is always ass-losing. So we the people must decide whether saving their face is worth losing our ass.
And this thing about preemptive war being a new policy -- not true. There's nothing new about it. It is old, very old. Listen, Mr. Bush, I know you sometimes get words mixed up, but Jesus did NOT say, "Doo doo unto others BEFORE they can doo doo unto you."
So if we need any more proof that the Irony Curtain has indeed descended, consider this: We have a Patriot Act that is unpatriotic, a President supported by the Christian Right perpetrating Unchristian wrongs, and a plan for peace that fans the flames of war. Can you say, "DUH'?"
Wake Up, America!
So I say it's time to "Wake up, America!" Wake up to our serious
foolishness. Wake up to the power of love that is our real choice in this
world. And wake up to the infinite possibilities available to us when we stop
doing what has never worked and try something different. Wake up America ..
wake up laughing, and wake up loving!
Because I tell you what. Our choice is
between love and fear. And I have good news. Love is a more powerful force.
How do I know? Because otherwise we'd be singing ...
All You Need is Fear

She Fears You, Yeah Yeah Yeah
And if we really want to save the world -- or at least spend it more wisely -- we must begin right now living the love, and losing the fear. Why now? Because it is too late to do it sooner!
Seriousness is Threatening Our Right to
Laugh
The world is in such serious condition, the Earth's protective laugh force has
been compromised. That's right. Scientists have discovered a hole in the
Bozone Layer -- our planetary clown chakra -- because not enough levity is
rising.
The good news is, we have founded the Right to Laugh Party ... one big party, everyone is invited .. to help us all wake up laughing, and leave laughter in our wake. Why laughter? Well most Americans agree there's definitely something funny going on, so why not use comedy to laugh those clowns out of power -- which in and of itself will raise the laugh-expectancy on the planet.
Because our right to laugh is being compromised by laugh-threatening seriousness. Everywhere I go, I see people not laughing. People are saying to me, "I don't understand it. I coulda sworn we voted for West Wing. How'd we end up with the Sopranos'?"
A Gold Collar Crime Wave
Forget white collar crime. We have to face the fact that we're dealing with
gold collar crime, and America is in denial. Consider this. Bill Clinton,
remember him? He took an out turn with an intern, and his little peccadillo
was blown all out of proportion. Meanwhile, George Bush was snuggled in bed
with that Lay from Enron who has screwed millions -- and everyone seems to
have forgotten.
Gold collar criminals are criminals who are big enough to actually help write the laws, and they are adept at the ancient Chinese art of using their energy or "ch'i" to take unfair advantage ... Ch'i Ting, it is called. And it's not just the Banana Republicans who are turning America into a banana republic. Parties in both parties are partying on our dime, and it's time to give them all the message: Their party is over.
The Trillion Dollar Question
Listen. A trillion dollars disappeared from the Defense Department accounts
last year. Poof, like that. Totally unaccounted for. Did you see that on
Unsolved Mysteries? Maybe it was on and I missed it. The Trillion Dollar
Question. Now, there's a reality TV show I would watch. Another story covered
up because the media failed to cover it. If we want the body politic to
recover, we must uncover the under-covered stories that have been covered
over. For indeed the best antidote for private excess is public access.
If Thomas Jefferson were alive today, do you know what he'd be saying? First thing he'd say is, "Boy ...do I feel OLD!" But then he would say that we are sovereign citizens, not subjects, and the government is our servant, not the other way around. And we are not being served very well by our servants. They are serving themselves first, their cronies second, and we the people are picking up the tab. Thomas Jefferson, radical that he was, would be saying, "Forget those airline passengers. Let's strip search the government!"
Time for a New Precedent
The good news is we don't need a revolution in this country. We've already had
one, thank you. What we need now is an American Evolution where we the people
evolve into the enlightened citizens our Founding Fathers designed this
government for. We must choose a new precedent, because if we keep doing what
we've done we will only get what we've gotten. Choose a new precedent ... and
a new President will follow. So we at the Right to Laugh Party put forth this
precedent: Government of the people, by the people, for the people where the
government does OUR bidding, not the bidding of the highest bidder.
Now I know we have counted on the Democrats in the past to represent the people's interests, but ever since they suffered that electile dysfunction back in 2000, those Democrats can't seem to get an election, can they? For the past ten years, the Republicans have been playing hardball. Meanwhile, the Democrats have been playing hardly-have-balls.
So that is why we must elect ourselves. It is only because of citizens like yourselves that Dr. Dean was able to alert the American public to the dangers of Mad Cowboy Disease (where the body politic is put into a state of cattlepsy) ... and citizens like you who will continue to awaken the body politic no matter who the candidates are. Yes, we need to wake up laughing, and wake up loving, so we can once and for all heal the body politic and cure electile dysfunction.
Blisskrieg Launched, All Out Peace
Declared
Last year, we launched the Blisskrieg and declared all out peace. All those
who have been developing inner peace, time to let it all out. And time to
bring that force of consciousness into the political realm. That is why it is
my mission to turn devotees into votees, and offer up another new precedent:
Religions of the world helping people practice the Golden Rule instead of
saying, "We're going to heaven .. and everyone else can go to hell."
Don't be afraid to laugh at the sacred cows, because as you know behind every sacred cow, there is a little bull lurking. So let's help religions enlighten up. Let's put the FUN back in FUNdamentalism. Because you can teach an old dogma new tricks. You can even teach your dogma to heal. In fact, I just heard some really good news. Apparently, there is a new singing group comprised of a Muslim, a Christian and a Jew, and it's called Three Dogma Night. Now something like that is bound to bring joy to the world.
Even Elvis Has Joined the Blisskrieg!
Speaking of music, even Elvis is joining the Blisskrieg. That's right. I was
recently traveling on a higher plane, and got to sit next to the King, who
was, as you know, a great spiritual teacher. Hey, I was a Presleyterian for a
while, and I followed the spiritual teachings of Elvis: "Love me tender,
please surrender, return to sender." This time Elvis asked me to convey
his very urgent message for peace to the world, to move the blisskrieg forward
so that more and more people get struck by enlightening -- because it's now or
never. Here is Elvis's message:

Get Even -- Get Odd!
So how do we bring that blisskrieg home? First of all, we must really
recognize the foolishness of getting even, and get odd instead. An eye for an
eye will only create blindness. Instead of doing what has never worked, why
not honor the odd possibility that by doing something different, we can
actually get different results? Because the main reason for toxic human
conditions is toxic human conditioning. Generations of this toxicity has left
a lot of residoodoo.
Through the human jestive system, we can transmute this toxic residoodoo into harmless laughter that will improve the atmosphere and restore the Bozone Layer. Laughter will help the body politic de-Tex -- oops, I mean detox -- and bring down the irony curtain as well.
Here's another oddball idea: Could it possibly be possible that there's a better way to bring about peace than through war? I say the best way to achieve loving ends is through loving means. Remember the Power of Now? Because now is the only time that really exists, the ends and the means are one and the same. So if the means are mean, you already know how it will end.
Now I know what you are thinking (yes, people ask me all the time if I am psychic, and I always answer, "I knew you were going to ask that question!"). You're probably thinking, does this head-in-the-sky Swami have any practical down-to-earth ideas for resolving the conflict in the Middle East? Well, it happens I do. And we need only look beyond our own higher states, north to our Canadian neighbors for the answer. The Canadians don't shoot each other. They have very low crime. They are the most peaceful, civilized people in the world, except for one thing ... hockey.
So that is my simple plan for peace in the Middle East: Hockey! Little Palestinian kids, little Israeli kids channeling thousands of years of frustration into hockey. The Hamas team vs. the Mosad team. They could charge admission and raise money for peace organizations. You can bet there's gonna be some high-sticking and cross-checking, but you know what? It beats the hell out of suicide bombing and homicide retaliation, and it's a sure fire way to put the entire conflict on ice.
Pray It Forward!
Now listen, even if we can't prove God exists, we know love exists ... and even if religion doesn't work, prayer still does. So pray it forward. Forget the idea that the messiah is going to come down and save the world. Did Jesus say, "Now don't do a thing till I return?"' No! We have met the messiah, and he is US! Who needs a bail out from above' This is supply-side spirituality.
Pray in any religion, pray in all of them. My guru, Harry Cohen Baba, the Garment Center Saint, was Jewish, had a Hindu ashram, and prayed to Buddha and Jesus. "Any one of these could be right," he explained, "so why put all your begs in one askit?" No one should be excluded, not even atheists. In fact, it is for their benefit that I created my Ultimate Meditation Tape -- which is, of course, blank. Because if we can't pray together, we don't have a prayer.
And as we pray for peace, I see us taking one small but significant step to actually get there. Are you ready to join me? OK, the first step is all of the peace organizations have to stop squabbling and make peace with one another. Think of how inspiring it will be to everyone else! And to get the process started, let us all join together in the peace mantra. Ready?
Ah, peace on it! Peace on it! Peace on it! Peace on it all!
Armageddon ... or Disarmageddon?
The choice is ours, every day and every minute ... love or fear. Will we
continue down the well worn path to armageddon ... or take the road less
traveled to disarmageddon instead? Are we going to buy into original sin, or
go for humanifest destiny where we actually realize our human potential?
Because no matter what I see on the 6 o'clock news I believe we have the
potential to be human, that mankind can treat man kindly, and that we can
bring about Nonjudgment Day where all heaven will break loose!
But we must enlighten up! How many of you are willing to take a vow of levity? All those willing to take a vow of levity ... please rise! Repeat after me: "All for fun, and fun for all!" I now pronounce you duly absurdified.
I have a dream. I have a dream of disarmageddon and nonjudgment day, a day of civil discourse when the Elephant lies down with the Donkey ... and doesn't roll over on top of him. I have a dream that all sessions of the United Nations will someday begin with the Hokey Pokey. Imagine, Yasser Arafat and Ariel Sharon. They put their whole selves in, that is commitment. They pull their whole selves out, that is detachment. They turn themselves around, and that is transformation. And THAT'S what it's all about!
May you laugh, laugh, laugh till the sacred cows come home. For truly the farce is with us.

Eisenhower’s
1954 Meeting With Extraterrestrials: The Fiftieth Anniversary of First
Contact?

ABSTRACT
On the night and early hours of February
20-21, 1954, while on a ‘vacation’ to Palm Springs, California, President
Dwight Eisenhower went missing and allegedly was taken to Edwards Air force
base for a secret meeting. When he showed up the next morning at a church
service in Los Angeles, reporters were told that he had to have emergency
dental treatment the previous evening and had visited a local dentist. The
dentist later appeared at a function that evening and presented as the ‘dentist’
who had treated Eisenhower. The missing night and morning has subsequently
fueled rumors that Eisenhower was using the alleged dentist visit as a cover
story for an extraordinary event. The event is possibly the most significant
that any American President could have conducted: an alleged ‘First Contact’
meeting with extraterrestrials at Edwards Air Force base (previously Muroc
Airfield), and the beginning of a series of meetings with different
extraterrestrial races that led to a ‘treaty’ that was eventually signed.
This astonishing First Contact event, if it occurred, will experience its 50th
anniversary on February 20-21, 2004.
This paper explores the evidence that the
First Contact meeting had occurred with extraterrestrials with a distinctive
‘Nordic’ appearance, the likelihood of an agreement having been spurned
with this ‘Nordic race’, the start of a series of meetings that led to a
treaty eventually being signed with a different extraterrestrial race dubbed
the ‘Greys’, and the motivations of the different extraterrestrial races
involved in these treaty discussions. The paper will further examine why these
events were kept secret for so long, the significance of the 50th anniversary
of Eisenhower’s meeting with extraterrestrials, and whether an official
disclosure announcement is likely in the near future.
Eisenhower’s 1954 Meeting With Extraterrestrials: The Fiftieth Anniversary of First Contact?
Introduction [1]
On the night and early hours of February 20-21, 1954, while on a ‘vacation’
to Palm Springs, California, President Dwight Eisenhower went missing and
allegedly was taken to Edwards Air force base for a secret meeting. When he
showed up the next morning at a church service in Los Angeles, reporters were
told that he had to have emergency dental treatment the previous evening and
had visited a local dentist. The dentist later appeared at a function that
evening and presented as the ‘dentist’ who had treated Eisenhower. The
missing night and morning has subsequently fueled rumors that Eisenhower was
using the alleged dentist visit as a cover story for an extraordinary event.
The event is possibly the most significant that any American President could
have conducted: an alleged ‘First Contact’ meeting with extraterrestrials
at Edwards Air Force base (previously Muroc Airfield), and the beginning of a
series of meetings with different extraterrestrial races that led to a ‘treaty’
that was eventually signed. This astonishing First Contact event, if it
occurred, will experience its 50th anniversary on February 20-21, 2004.
This paper explores the evidence that the
First Contact meeting had occurred with extraterrestrials with a distinctive
‘Nordic’ appearance, the likelihood of an agreement having been spurned
with this ‘Nordic race’, the start of a series of meetings that led to a
treaty eventually being signed with a different extraterrestrial race dubbed
the ‘Greys’, and the motivations of the different extraterrestrial races
involved in these treaty discussions. The paper will further examine why these
events were kept secret for so long, the significance of the 50th anniversary
of Eisenhower’s meeting with extraterrestrials, and whether an official
disclosure announcement is likely in the near future.
Circumstantial Evidence Supporting
Eisenhower’s ‘First Contact’ Meeting with Extraterrestrials
There is circumstantial and testimonial evidence supporting Eisenhower’s
meeting with extraterrestrials and the start of a series of meetings that
culminated in the signing of a treaty with a different group of
extraterrestrials. The most intriguing are circumstances surrounding
Eisenhower’s alleged winter vacation to Palm Springs, California from
February 17-24, 1954. Firstly, the ”vacation for the President” which was
announced rather suddenly and came less than a week after Eisenhower’s ‘quail
shooting’ vacation in Georgia. According to UFO researcher, William Moore,
all this was quite unusual and suggested that there was more to the one week
visit to Palm Springs than a simple holiday. [2]
Second, on the Saturday night of February 20,
President Eisenhower did go missing fueling press speculation that he had
taken ill or even died. In a hastily convened press conference, Eisenhower’s
Press Secretary announced that Eisenhower had lost a tooth cap while eating
fried chicken and had to be rushed to a local dentist. The local dentist was
introduced at an official function on Sunday February 21, as "the dentist
who had treated the president". [3] Moore’s investigation of the
incident concluded that the dentist’s visit was being used as a cover story
for Eisenhower’s true whereabouts.
Consequently, Eisenhower was missing for an
entire evening and could easily have been taken from Palm Springs to the
nearby Muroc Airfield, later renamed Edwards Air Force base. The unscheduled
nature of the President’s vacation, the missing President and the dentist
cover story provide circumstantial evidence that the true purpose of his Palm
Springs vacation was for him to attend an event whose importance was such that
it could not be disclosed to the general public. A meeting with
extraterrestrials may well have been the true purpose of his visit.
Gerald Light’s Letter That Eisenhower
Met With Extraterrestrials
The first public source alleging a meeting with extraterrestrials was Gerald
Light who in a letter dated April 16, 1954 to Meade Layne, the then director
of Borderland Sciences Research Associates (now Foundation), claimed he was
part of a delegation of community leaders to an alleged meeting with
extraterrestrials at Edwards Air Force Base. In a subsequent article, Meade
Layne described Light as a “gifted and highly educated writer and lecturer”,
who was skilled both in clairvoyance and the occult. [4] Light was a
well-known metaphysical community leader in the Southern California area. The
alleged purpose of him and others on the delegation was to test public
reaction to the presence of extraterrestrials. Light described the
circumstances of the meeting as follows:
'My dear friends: I have just returned from
Muroc [Edwards Air Force Base]. The report is true -- devastatingly true! I
made the journey in company with Franklin Allen of the Hearst papers and Edwin
Nourse of Brookings Institute (Truman's erstwhile financial advisor) and
Bishop MacIntyre of L.A. (confidential names for the present, please). When we
were allowed to enter the restricted section (after about six hours in which
we were checked on every possible item, event, incident and aspect of our
personal and public lives), I had the distinct feeling that the world had come
to an end with fantastic realism. For I have never seen so many human beings
in a state of complete collapse and confusion, as they realized that their own
world had indeed ended with such finality as to beggar description. The
reality of the ‘other plane’ aeroforms is now and forever removed from the
realms of speculation and made a rather painful part of the consciousness of
every responsible scientific and political group. During my two days' visit I
saw five separate and distinct types of aircraft being studied and handled by
our Air Force officials -- with the assistance and permission of the Etherians!
I have no words to express my reactions. It has finally happened. It is now a
matter of history. President Eisenhower, as you may already know, was spirited
over to Muroc one night during his visit to Palm Springs recently. And it is
my conviction that he will ignore the terrific conflict between the various
'authorities' and go directly to the people via radio and television -- if the
impasse continues much longer. From what I could gather, an official statement
to the country is being prepared for delivery about the middle of May. [5]
Of course no such formal announcement was
made, and Light’s supposed meeting has either been the best-kept secret of
the twentieth century or the fabrication of an elderly mystic known for out of
body experiences. The events Light describes in his meeting in terms of the
panic and confusion of many of those present, the emotional impact of the
alleged landing, and the tremendous difference of opinion on what to do in
terms of telling the public and responding to the extraterrestrial visitors,
are plausible descriptions of what may have occurred. Indeed, the
psychological and emotional impact Light describes for senior national
security leaders at the meeting is consistent with what could be expected for
such a ‘life changing event’. A further way of determining Light’s claim
is to investigate the figures he named along with himself as part of the
community delegation, and whether they could have been plausible candidates
for such a meeting.
Dr Edwin Nourse (1883-1974) was the first
chairman of the Council of Economic Advisors to the President (1944-1953) and
was President Truman’s chief economic advisor. [6] Nourse officially retired
to private life in 1953 and would certainly have been a good choice of someone
who could give confidential economic advise to the Eisenhower administration.
If Dr Nourse was present at such a meeting, he did so in order to provide his
expertise on the possible economic impact of First Contact with
extraterrestrials. Another of the individuals mentioned by Light was Bishop
MacIntyre.
Cardinal James Francis MacIntyre was the
bishop and head of the Catholic Church in Los Angeles (1948-1970) and would
have been an important gauge for the possible reaction from religious leaders
generally, and in particular from the most influential and powerful religious
institution on the planet – the Roman Catholic Church. In particular,
Cardinal MacIntyre would have been a good choice as a representative for the
Vatican since he was appointed the first Cardinal of the Western United States
by Pope Pius XII in 1952. All Cardinal MacIntyre’s correspondence is closed
to researchers thus making it impossible to confirm what impact the visit to
Muroc had on him and what he communicated to other church leaders and the
Vatican. [7] Cardinal MacIntyre had sufficient rank and authority to represent
the Catholic Church and the religious community in a delegation of community
leaders.
The fourth member of the delegation of
community leaders was Franklin Winthrop Allen, a former reporter with the
Hearst Newspapers Group. [8] Allen was 80 years old at the time, author of a
book instructing reporters on how to deal with Congressional Committee
Hearings, and would have been a good choice for a member of the press who
could maintain confidentiality.
The four represented senior leaders of the
religious, spiritual, economic and newspaper communities and were well
advanced in age and status. They would certainly have been plausible choices
for a community delegation that could provide confidential advise on a
possible public response to a First Contact event involving extraterrestrial
races. Such a selection would have constituted a ‘wise men’ group that
would have been entirely in character for the conservative nature of American
society in 1954. While Light may well contrived such a list in a fabricated
account or ‘out of body’ experience as Moore implies in his analysis,
there is nothing in Light’s selection that eliminates the possibility that
they were plausible members of such a delegation. [9] At face value then, the
selection of such a ‘wise men’ group gives some credence to Light’s
claim.
It may be concluded then that following items
all make up circumstantial evidence that a meeting with extraterrestrials
occurred. The first is Eisenhower’s missing night. The second is the weak
‘cover story’ used for Eisenhower’s absence. The third is Light’s
description of actual events at the meeting in terms of the psychological and
emotional impact of the described meeting which is consistent with what could
be anticipated. The final is Light’s description of the composition of
community leaders or ‘wise men’ at the meeting. These four items
collectively provide circumstantial evidence that a meeting with
extraterrestrials occurred and that Eisenhower was present.
Testimonies Supporting Eisenhower’s
Meeting With Extraterrestrials
There are a number of other sources alleging an extraterrestrial meeting at
Edwards Air force base that corresponded to a formal First Contact event.
These sources are based on testimonies of ‘whistleblowers’ that witnessed
documents or learned from their ‘insider contacts’ of such a meeting.
These testimonies describe what appears to be two separate sets of meetings
involving different extraterrestrial groups who met either with President
Eisenhower and/or with Eisenhower administration officials over a short period
of time. The first of these meetings, the actual ‘First Contact’ event,
did not lead to an agreement and the extraterrestrials were effectively
spurned. The second of these meetings did lead to an agreement, and this has
been apparently become the basis of subsequent secret interactions with
extraterrestrial races involved in the ‘treaty’ that was signed. There is
some discrepancy in the sequence of meetings and where they were held, but all
agree that a ‘First Contact’ meeting involving President Eisenhower did
occur, and that one of these meetings occurred with his February 1954 visit to
Edwards Air force base.
The first version of Eisenhower’s meeting
is described by one of the most ‘controversial’ whistleblowers to ever
have come forward into the public arena to describe an extraterrestrial
presence. William Cooper served on the Naval Intelligence briefing team for
the Commander of the Pacific Fleet between 1970-73, and had access to
classified documents that he had to review in order to fulfill his briefing
duties. He describes the background and nature of the ‘First contact’ with
extraterrestrials as follows:
In 1953 Astronomers discovered large objects
in space which were moving toward the Earth. It was first believed that they
were asteroids. Later evidence proved that the objects could only be
Spaceships. Project Sigma intercepted alien radio communications. When the
objects reached the Earth they took up a very high orbit around the Equator.
There were several huge ships, and their actual intent was unknown. Project
Sigma, and a new project, Plato, through radio communications using the
computer binary language, was able to arrange a landing that resulted in face
to face contact with alien beings from another planet. Project Plato was
tasked with establishing diplomatic relations with this race of space aliens.
In the meantime a race of human looking aliens contacted the U.S. Government.
This alien group warned us against the aliens that were orbiting the Equator
and offered to help us with our spiritual development. They demanded that we
dismantle and destroy our nuclear weapons as the major condition. They refused
to exchange technology citing that we were spiritually unable to handle the
technology which we then possessed. They believed that we would use any new
technology to destroy each other. This race stated that we were on a path of
self destruction and we must stop killing each other, stop polluting the
Earth, stop raping the Earth's natural resources, and learn to live in
harmony. These terms were met with extreme suspicion, especially the major
condition of nuclear disarmament. It was believed that meeting that condition
would leave us helpless in the face of an obvious alien threat. We also had
nothing in history to help with the decision. Nuclear disarmament was not
considered to be within the best interest of the United States. The overtures
were rejected. [10]
The significant point about Cooper’s
version is that the humanoid extraterrestrial race was not willing to enter
into technology exchanges that might help weapons development, and instead was
focused on spiritual development. Significantly, the overtures of these
extraterrestrials were turned down.
Confirmation that the First Contact meeting
involved extraterrestrials who were effectively spurned for taking what might
be considered a principled stand on technology assistance and nuclear weapons
comes from the son of a former Navy Commander who claimed that his father had
been present at the First Contact event on February 20-21, 1954. According to
Charles L. Suggs, a retired Sgt from the US Marine Corps, his father Charles
L. Suggs, (1909-1987) was a former Commander with the US Navy who attended the
meeting at Edwards Air force base with Eisenhower. [11] Sgt Suggs recounted
his father’s experiences from the meeting in a 1991 interview with a
prominent UFO researcher:

Suggs accompanied Pres. Ike along with others on Feb. 20th. They met and spoke
with 2 white-haired Nordics that had pale blue eyes and colorless lips. The
spokesman stood a number of feet away from Ike and would not let him approach
any closer. A second nordic stood on the extended ramp of a bi-convex saucer
that stood on tripod landing gear on the landing strip. According to Charlie,
there were B-58 Hustlers on the field even though the first one did not fly
officially till 1956. These visitors said they came from another solar system.
They posed detailed questions about our
nuclear testing. [12]
Another ‘whistleblower’ who confirms that
First Contact involved an extraterrestrial race being spurned for their
principled stand on technology transfer is the son of the famous creator of
the Lear Jet, William Lear. John Lear is a former Lockheed L-1011 Captain who
flew over 150 test aircraft and held 18 world speed records, and during the
late 1960's, 1970's and early 1980's was a contract pilot for the CIA. Lear
developed a close relationship with CIA Director (DCI) William Colby who was
in charge of covert operations in Vietnam before becoming DCI. According to
Lear there had indeed been a warning from another race prior to an agreement
being eventually signed, and he claimed they visited Muroc/Edward and the
following occurred:
In 1954, President Eisenhower met with a
representative of another alien species at Muroc Test Center, which is now
called Edwards Airforce Base. This alien suggested that they could help us get
rid of the Greys but Eisenhower turned down their offer because they offered
no technology. [13] <![endif]>
Cooper’s and Lear’s idea of more than one extraterrestrial race
interacting with the Eisenhower administration is supported by other
whistleblowers such as former Master Sergeant Robert Dean who like Cooper, had
access to top secret documents while working in the intelligence division for
the Supreme Commander of a major US military command. In Dean’s 27 year
distinguished military career, he served at the Supreme Headquarters Allied
Powers Europe where he witnessed these documents while serving under the
Supreme Allied Commander of Europe. Dean claimed:
The group at the time, there were just four that they knew of for certain and
the Greys were one of those groups. There was a group that looked exactly like
we do. There was a human group that looked so much like us that that really
drove the admirals and the generals crazy because they determined that these
people, and they had seen them repeatedly, they had had contact with them,
there had been abductions, there had been contacts… Two other groups, there
was a very large group, I say large, they were 6-8 maybe sometimes 9 feet tall
and they were humanoid, but they were very pale, very white, didn't have any
hair on their bodies at all. And then there was another group that had sort of
a reptilian quality to them. We had encountered them, military people and
police officers all over the world have run into these guys. They had vertical
pupils in their eyes and their skin seemed to have a quality very much like
what you find on the stomach of a lizard. So those were the four they knew of
in 1964. [14]
There is some discrepancy in the testimonials as to which Air force base the
spurned extraterrestrials met with President Eisenhower and/or Eisenhower
administration officials. Cooper claims this occurred at Homestead Air force
base in Florida, and not Edwards. [15] On the other hand Lear and Suggs
suggest it occurred at Edwards. In his letter, Gerald Light pointed to intense
disagreement amongst Eisenhower officials in responding to the
extraterrestrials at the Edwards AFB meeting. Such intense disagreement may
predictably have occurred if national security officials were responding to an
extraterrestrial request to abandon the pursuit of weapons technologies. Given
the intensity of the Cold War, the national security officials present may
well have decided it was more prudent to seek better terms before agreeing to
the extraterrestrials request. Light’s testimony implies that the meeting at
Edwards did not result in an agreement, but instead resulted in intense
disagreement between Eishenhower officials. Consequently, I will conclude that
the Lear and Suggs version is more accurate, and that the ‘First Contact’
meeting occurred at Edwards Air force base in February 20-21, 1954.
The Subsequent 1954 Agreement with
Extraterrestrials
According to the testimonies examined so far, the February 20-21, 1954
meeting was not successful, and the extraterrestrials were spurned due to
their refusal to enter into technology exchanges and insistence on nuclear
disarmament by the US and presumably other major world powers. Cooper
describes the circumstances of a subsequent agreement that was reached after
the failure of the first meeting. While Cooper has a different version of
dates and times for the 1954 meetings, he agrees that there were two sets of
meetings involving different extraterrestrials meeting with President
Eisenhower and/or Eisenhower administration officials. [16]
Later in 1954 the race of large nosed Gray Aliens which had been orbiting the
Earth landed at Holloman Air Force Base. A basic agreement was reached. This
race identified themselves as originating from a Planet around a red star in
the Constellation of Orion which we called Betelgeuse. They stated that their
planet was dying and that at some unknown future time they would no longer be
able to survive there. [17]
The meeting at Holloman Air force base in New Mexico has reportedly been the
site of subsequent extraterrestrial meetings with the same extraterrestrials
who it will be shown signed the 1954 treaty. In 1972-73, for example, the
producers Robert Emenegger and Allan Sandler, had allegedly been offered and
witnessed actual Air force film footage of a meeting involving Grey
extraterrestrials that occurred at Holloman Air force base in 1971. [18]
Cooper explained the terms of the 1954 treaty reached with the Grey
extraterrestrials as follows:
The treaty stated that the aliens would not
interfere in our affairs and we would not interfere in theirs. We would keep
their presence on earth a secret. They would furnish us with advanced
technology and would help us in our technological development. They would not
make any treaty with any other Earth nation. They could abduct humans on a
limited and periodic basis for the purpose of medical examination and
monitoring of our development, with the stipulation that the humans would not
be harmed, would be returned to their point of abduction, would have no memory
of the event, and that the alien nation would furnish Majesty Twelve with a
list of all human contacts and abductees on a regularly scheduled basis. [19]
Another whistleblower source for a treaty
having been signed is Phil Schneider, a former geological engineer that was
employed by corporations contracted to build underground bases worked
extensively on black projects involving extraterrestrials. He revealed his own
knowledge of the treaty in the following:
Back in 1954, under the Eisenhower
administration, the federal government decided to circumvent the Constitution
of the United States and form a treaty with alien entities. It was called the
1954 Greada Treaty, which basically made the agreement that the aliens
involved could take a few cows and test their implanting techniques on a few
human beings, but that they had to give details about the people involved.
[20]
Schneider’s knowledge of the treaty would have come from his familiarity
with a range of compartmentalized black projects and interaction with other
personnel working with extraterrestrials. Yet another whistleblower source for
an agreement being signed is Dr Michael Wolf, who claims to have served on
various policy-making committees responsible for extraterrestrial affairs for
twenty five years. [21] He claims that the Eisenhower administration entered
into the treaty with an extraterrestrial race and that this treaty was never
ratified as constitutionally required. [22]
Significantly, a number of whistleblowers
argue that the treaty that was signed involved some compulsion on the part of
the extraterrestrials. Don Phillips is a former Air force serviceman and
employee on clandestine aviation projects who testified having seen documents
describing the meeting between President Eisenhower and extraterrestrials, and
the background to a subsequent agreement:
We have records from 1954 that were meetings
between our own leaders of this country and ET’s here in California. And, as
I understand it from the written documentation, we were asked if we would
allow them to be here and do research. I have read that our reply was well,
how can we stop you? You are so advanced. And I will say by this camera and
this sound, that it was President Eisenhower that had this meeting. [23]
Col Phillip Corso, a highly decorated officer
that served in Eisenhower’s National Security Council alluded to a treaty
signed by the Eisenhower administration with extraterrestrials in his memoirs.
He wrote: “We had negotiated a kind of surrender with them
[extraterrestrials] as long as we couldn’t fight them. They dictated the
terms because they knew what we most feared was disclosure.” [24] Corso’s
claim of a ‘negotiated surrender’ suggests that some sort of agreement or
‘treaty’ was reached which he was not happy with.
What Do We Know of the Grey
Extraterrestrials that signed the Treaty?
According to Cooper, the Grey extraterrestrials signing the treaty were not
trustworthy:
By 1955 it became obvious that the aliens had
deceived Eisenhower and had broken the treaty…. It was suspected that the
aliens were not submitting a complete list of human contacts and abductees to
the Majesty Twelve and it was suspected that not all abductees had been
returned. [25]
Similarly, Lear argued that the Grey
extraterrestrials quickly broke the treaty and could not be trusted:
… a deal was struck that in exchange for advanced technology from the aliens
we would allow them to abduct a very small number of persons and we would
periodically be given a list of those persons abducted. We got something less
than the technology we bargained for and found the abductions exceeded by a
million fold than what we had naively agreed to. [26]
Other whistleblowers also suggested that the
extraterrestrials who signed the Treaty with Eisenhower couldn’t be trusted.
Schneider claimed that despite the treaty’s provisions on the number of
humans who would be ‘abducted’ for experiments, “the aliens altered the
bargain until they decided they wouldn't abide by it at all.” [27]
As mentioned earlier, Col Phillip Corso
similarly believed that the extraterrestrials that the Eisenhower
administration entered into agreements with couldn’t be trusted. Corso
believed these forced a ‘negotiated surrender’ suggesting an
extraterrestrial agenda that was suspect. While General Douglas Macarthur didn’t
directly mention any government treaty with extraterrestrials, he gave a
famous warning in October 1955 suggesting that some extraterrestrial presence
existed that threatened human sovereignty:
You now face a new world, a world of change.
We speak in strange terms, of harnessing the cosmic energy, of ultimate
conflict between a united human race and the sinister forces of some other
planetary galaxy." "The nations of the world will have to unite, for
the next war will be an interplanetary war. The nations of the earth must
someday make a common front against attack by people from other planets. [28]
Macarthur may well have been alluding to the
same extraterrestrials that Corso, Cooper and Lear believed had entered into
an agreement with the Eisenhower administration.
Significantly, reports of contacts with
extraterrestrials began to change once the alleged treaty began to be
implemented. The friendly ‘space brothers’ reports involving contactees of
the 1950s changed as reports of abductions began to emerge after the first
recorded case in 1961 involving Barney and Betty Hill:
Another apparent pattern that has occurred in
Ufology is the dominance of the space brothers in the 1950's who were kind,
interacted with people who became known as contactees, and took people for
rides in their space crafts. This pattern changed dramatically with the
abduction of Betty and Barney Hill in the early 1960's. The space brother
human types of the 1950's seemed to fade away, and they were replaced in the
UFO literature with another type of alien. In the early sixties the first
abduction of the Hills began a new pattern where the aliens were grey
"evil" aliens who would abduct people against their will, and
perform medical procedures on them. There were, as far as this author is aware
no confirmed cases of "classic" abductions in the 1950's. Unlike the
"good" space brothers of the 1950's these grey aliens were described
by all, who were unfortunate enough to have met with them, as being distant
and without emotions. [29]
According to Wolf, the extraterrestrials were
Greys from the fourth planet of the star system Zeta Reticulum, while Cooper
claims they were tall Greys from Betelgeuse, Orion. Wolf’s and Cooper’s
differing versions likely reflect a close relationship between Greys from
Rigel and Betelguese, and that more than one species of extraterrestrials may
have been covered in the treaty. Wolf has described the Greys as having
positive motivations in regard to their presence on Earth, but have been
inhibited and targeted by rogue elements in the US military. [30] Similarly,
Robert Dean believes that the extraterrestrials visiting Earth are friendly.
[31] This contrasts with the testimonies of Cooper, Lear, Schneider, Corso and
arguably even Macarthur over the true motivations of the Greys. It is worth
repeating Gerald Light’s claim of a “terrific conflict between the various
'authorities'” on whether to inform the general public or not. It is likely
that these differing perspectives on the motivations of the Greys reflected an
uncertainty that has continued to intensely divide policy makers up to the
present on how to best respond to the extraterrestrial presence and what to
tell the general public. [32]
Maintaining Secrecy and Witness
Credibility
The uncertainty over the motivations and behavior of the Grey
extraterrestrials appears to have played a large role in the government
decision not to disclose the extraterrestrial presence and the treaty
Eisenhower signed with them. The following passage from an ‘alleged official
document’ leaked to UFO researchers describes the official secrecy policy
adopted in April 1954, two months after Eisenhower had ‘First Contact’
with extraterrestrials who were spurned by the Eisenhower administration:
Any encounter with entities known to be of
extraterrestrial origin is to be considered to be a matter of national
security and therefore classified TOP SECRET. Under no circumstances is the
general public or the public press to learn of the existence of these
entities. The official government policy is that such creatures do not exist,
and that no agency of the federal government is now engaged in any study of
extraterrestrials or their artifacts. Any deviation from this stated policy is
absolutely forbidden. [33]
Penalties for disclosing classified information concerning extraterrestrials
are quite severe. In December 1953, the Joint Chiefs of Staff issued
Army-Navy-Air Force publication 146 that made the unauthorized release of
information concerning UFOs a crime under the Espionage Act, punishable by up
to 10 years in prison and a $10,000 fine. [34] According to Robert Dean, this
draconian penalty is what prevents most former military servicemen from coming
forward to disclose information. [35]
The strategies for dealing with those former
servicemen, corporate employees or witnesses brave or ‘foolish’ enough to
come forward to reveal classified information is to intimidate, silence,
eliminate or discredit these individuals. This policy involves such strategies
as removing all public records of former military service men or corporate
employees, forcing individuals to make retractions, deliberately distorting
statements of individuals, or discrediting individuals. Bob Lazar, for
example, claimed to be a former physicist employed with reverse engineering
extraterrestrial craft. He described the disappearance of all his university
and public records indicating how military-intelligence agencies actively
discredit whistleblowers. [36]
In the cases of the witnesses cited so far,
Cooper, Schneider, Lear, Wolf, all have been subjected to some or all of these
strategies thereby making it difficult to reach firm conclusions about their
testimonies. Since the creation of controversy, uncertainty, and confusion is
the modus operandi of military-intelligence agencies in maintaining secrecy of
the extraterrestrial presence, then the testimonies of former
officials/employees/witnesses need to be considered on their merits. While
issues of credibility, credentials, disinformation are important in the study
of the extraterrestrial presence, a rigorous methodology for dealing with the
efforts of military-intelligence agencies to discredit, intimidate or create
controversy around particular witnesses, has yet to be developed. For example,
numerous efforts to discredit Cooper in particular by referring to
inconsistencies in his statements, retractions, egregious behavior and stated
positions, may be due in part or in whole to the policy of
military-intelligence officials to discredit and/or intimidate Cooper from
leaking classified information that he may very well have witnessed in his
official capacities. Since Cooper’s military record does indicate he did
serve in an official capacity on the briefing team of the Commander of the
Pacific Fleet, it is most likely that much of his testimony is credible.
Whatever inaccuracies exist in terms of his recollections of the timing of
meetings between the Eisenhower administration and extraterrestrials may
either have been due to memory lapses or perhaps deliberately introduced as a
self-protective mechanism. It has been pointed out by some ‘whistleblowers’
that making retractions or sowing inaccuracies in testimonies is sometimes
essential in disseminating information without being physically harmed. [37]
The controversial Cooper had been subjected to undoubtedly the longest and
most intense military-intelligence efforts to discredit or intimidate any
whistleblower revealing classified information.
The non-disclosure policy developed for the
extraterrestrial presence is most likely due to a profound policy dilemma on
the part of responsible national security officials. This dilemma comes from
uncertainty over what the true benefits of the purported 1954 treaty were, and
what the consequences of the treaty would be. While the signing of the treaty
provided US national security agencies an opportunity to study
extraterrestrial technologies, and to observe the extraterrestrial biological
program with abducted civilians, it appeared the treaty was not as beneficial
as was first thought due to excessive abductions of US civilians.
The subsequent behavior of the Greys in their
interactions with US national security agencies was the most likely reason for
deferring a decision to release news of the treaty and the extraterrestrial
presence to the global public. According to Lights’ testimony, Eisenhower
had indicated to those present on February 20-21, 1954, that an announcement
would be made soon after the First Contact event. Since this didn’t occur,
and a treaty was eventually signed with a different group of
extraterrestrials, the Greys, this suggested that the national security
agencies were deeply divided over the wisdom of disclosing this information,
and alarmed by the possible public reaction to the Grey activities.
At his farewell speech in 1961, President
Eisenhower was possibly alluding to the growing power of national security
agencies that dealt with the extraterrestrial presence and were gaining great
power as a result of the dilemma over what to do with the extraterrestrial
presence:
In the councils of government, we must guard
against the acquisition of unwarranted influence, whether sought or unsought,
by the military industrial complex. The potential for the disastrous rise of
misplaced power exists and will persist. We must never let the weight of this
combination endanger our liberties or democratic processes. We should take
nothing for granted. Only an alert and knowledgeable citizenry can compel the
proper meshing of the huge industrial and military machinery of defense with
our peaceful methods and goals, so that security and liberty may prosper
together.
If the President was dissatisfied with the
non-disclosure of the extraterrestrial presence, then his speech was
indicating that the responsible national security agencies were both
dominating public policy and taking a ‘hard-line approach’ that was
inconsistent with American democratic ideals.
In the subsequent decades, it appears that on
a number of occasions, official disclosure was seriously contemplated. For
example, Robert Emenegger and Allan Sandler claimed they were approached by
the Pentagon in 1972 to produce an officially sanctioned video that would be
used for official public disclosure of the extraterrestrial presence. When the
offer was later withdrawn, the reason given was that the time was no longer
suitable due to the Watergate Scandal. While it is undoubtedly true that
political factors would impact on making a formal disclosure announcement, it
is more likely the case that non-disclosure was caused by lack of clarity over
what the true motivations of the extraterrestrials were, and the impact an
announcement would have on extraterrestrial activities. Making any
announcement of the extraterrestrial presence would naturally have lead to
questions concerning the extraterrestrials’ motivations and activities. If
officials couldn’t agree on appropriate answers, they most likely decided
that it was better to defer disclosure rather than threaten national security
by making inaccurate announcements.
The precise nature of the extraterrestrial abductions and the medical programs implemented by the Greys has been extensively researched and discussed by a number of UFO researchers. Their conclusions vary widely suggesting that the deep disagreement among private UFO researchers over the motivations and activities of the Greys, very likely mirrors that of official government sources. [38] As long as such uncertainty continues, it appears that disclosure may continue to be deferred until key global events no longer makes the non-disclosure policy viable.
Conclusion
An examination of the evidence presented in this paper in terms of
whistleblower or witness testimonies raises tremendous problems in terms of
coming to a conclusive opinion over: first, the truth of the alleged ‘First
Contact’ meeting between Eisenhower and extraterrestrials; second, claims of
more than one set of extraterrestrials meeting with the Eisenhower
administration; and third, the various policy issues that arise from the
meetings and subsequent treaty that was allegedly signed. Most perplexing is
how to view the testimonies of whistleblowers who appear sincere, positively
motivated and have plausible stories, yet are plagued by controversy,
allegations of fraud, inconsistency and other irregularities. Due to the
official secrecy policy adopted towards the extraterrestrial presence, it may
be concluded that some if not most of the controversy surrounding these
individuals has been caused by military-intelligence agencies intent on
discrediting whistleblower or witness testimonies.
While there continues to be uncertainty
caused by the controversy surrounding whistleblower testimonies and the role
of military-intelligence agencies in generating this controversy, the bulk of
evidence points to a ‘First Contact’ meeting having occurred during
Eisenhower’s Palm Spring vacation on February 20-21, 1954. The testimonies
suggest that the extraterrestrials in the First Contact event, a race of tall
‘Nordic’ extraterrestrials were spurned due to their reluctance to provide
advanced technology in an agreement. A subsequent meeting and treaty was then
signed with a different set of extraterrestrials, commonly called Greys, who
did not have the same reluctance in exchanging extraterrestrial technology as
part of an agreement.
Most of the available evidence that has found
its way into the public arena suggests that the extraterrestrial race with
whom the treaty was signed, the Greys, are at best an enigma and at worst
simply untrustworthy in their treatment of abducted civilians. The subsequent
shift in witness reports from friendly extraterrestrial ‘contacts’ to
disturbing ‘abductions’, suggest that the Eisenhower administration had
signed a treaty with extraterrestrials whose motivations and activities are an
enigma as far as the general public interest is concerned. The activities of
the Grey extraterrestrials apparently continues to raise uncertainty for US
national security agencies in terms of an appropriate strategic response. [39]
On the contrary, the friendly Nordic ‘space brothers’ faded from the scene
since the Eisenhower administration saw them as not sufficiently motivated to
serve the technological and strategic goals of US national security agencies.
The question of when disclosure of the treaty
signed by Eisenhower and of the extraterrestrial presence might occur is one
that has long been anticipated. A recent economic event might be a signal that
some form of disclosure is possible in the near future. According to Craig
Copetas, Bloomberg News correspondent in Paris, the World Economic Forum at
Davos Switzerland from January 21-25, 2004, discussed extraterrestrials at one
or more closed sessions. In a story published on January 21, Copetas claimed
that "forum officials maintain their five-day program on Partnering for
Security and Prosperity requires an unambiguous examination of
extraterrestrial presence on Earth.” [40] The Davos Forum is a gauge for
trends in the global economy and discusses various topics that have a long
term effect on business. The inclusion of conspiracy theories of an
extraterrestrial presence and technologies on the formal agenda has
significance well beyond the hypothetical nature of the discussion. Various
national governments may well be tacitly letting the word out to their ‘friends
in the business community’, that they had better start exploring how a
future disclosure of an extraterrestrial presence and technologies will
influence the business world. Given the discussion at Davos on January 21,
2004, of a possible extraterrestrial presence, and the forthcoming 50th
anniversary of Eisenhower’s treaty on February 20-21, it might be speculated
that a disclosure announcement may soon be made.
As we approach the 50th anniversary of a
First Contact meeting between the US and an extraterrestrial race, we must do
so with wonder at the awesome nature of this occasion. At the same time, we
must do whatever necessary to make public the full details of the meeting, and
the apparent spurning of what appears to be a principled extraterrestrial race
that rejected technology transfers while dangerous weapons programs were in
place in the US and elsewhere on the planet. The subsequent signing of a
treaty at a later date with an extraterrestrial race willing to trade
technology in exchange for ‘limited medical experiments’ with civilians
will surely go down in history as a deeply significant event whose effects
continues to reverberate through human society. Finally, we must be alert to
the mounting evidence that while a treaty was signed after the 1954 ‘First
Contact’ event, it may well have been with the ‘wrong extraterrestrials’,
and that this might adversely impact on humanity if not dealt with in an open,
transparent and truthful manner. We live on the verge of a bold new future
with many uncertainties over the secrecy surrounding the extraterrestrial
presence, what best prepares us as this information enters into the public
arena are our faith, democratic values, and dedication to truth.
